RDA = Rebuildable Dripper Atomizer - Drippers are drip atomizers. These e-cigarettes have no (or only a very very very small) tank for liquid. Instead, after a few puffs, new liquid has to be dripped onto the coil again and again - hence the name.

RTA = Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - Tank atomizers are the classic tank atomizers that everyone should know. As with a finished coil atomizer, the coil is located in the center of the tank and thus absorbs the liquid. However, the built-in coil is wound by itself.

RDTA = Rebuildable Dripper Tank Atomizer - These atomizers are a combination of the previous types of devices. The liquid tank is located under the coil. The liquid is then drawn up into the coil by the capillary action of the cotton.

RBA = Rebuildable Base for Atomizer - this is a small coil that is reminiscent of a finished coil and is also intended for these atomizers. This allows you to combine the advantages of a ready-made coil with the advantages of a self-winding atomizer. What are these advantages? Let's see...


First of all, self-winders eliminate a disadvantage of ready-made coils: winding your own coils is very cheap - often even many times over in comparison to ready-made coils.

The other big plus of self-rollers is a stronger flavor development and the formation of larger clouds.

In addition, self-winding vaporizers offer you much more freedom to adapt the e-cigarette to your needs and preferences. For example, there are numerous different types of wraps and a wide variety of accessories that lead to a different vaping experience depending on the combination.


However, the advantages mentioned are offset by some disadvantages. For example, a self-wound coil is virtually impossible to reproduce, since no two windings are the same. The feeling of vaping and the taste can always vary a bit.

In addition, winding a coil yourself is relatively complicated, especially for beginners, and can often lead to frustration as a newcomer. You also have to buy additional accessories such as tools to wrap them yourself (if you don't already have the right tools at home).
